The Process and Timeline

The application for the 2026 – 2027 year of service is now closed.

Qualifications for application: The House of Brigid seeks young adults motivated by faith and a desire to serve the Catholic Church. To be considered for membership in the House of Brigid, you must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree. Your primary area of study need not have been music or theology, but we are seeking experience in ministerial activities. A significant portion of our ministry is musical, and while applicants need not have formal musical training, experience in choirs and especially with planning Catholic liturgy is valued by the selection committee.

Volunteers with the House of Brigid receive housing, travel to and from each year of service, health insurance, and a living stipend.

Potential applicants should take time to familiarize themselves with the House of Brigid’s work before applying; much information can be found on this website, and questions that cannot be answered by the website can be directed to Uyen Le (hle2@nd.edu).

An updated timeline for the 2027-2028 application will be posted soon.
