Application Timeline for the 2027-2028 cohort

November 1, 2026: Application opens.

February 8, 2027: Application due.

Mid – February — early March 2027: Interviews (by invitation) conducted on Zoom.

Mid – late March 2027: Positions offered and contracts signed for the following academic year. Contract runs from August 15 to June 30.

Qualifications for application: The House of Brigid seeks young adults motivated by faith and a desire to serve the Catholic Church. To be considered for membership in the House of Brigid, you must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree. Your primary area of study need not have been music or theology, but we are seeking experience in ministerial activities. A significant portion of our ministry is musical, and while applicants need not have formal musical training, experience in choirs and especially with planning Catholic liturgy is valued by the selection committee.

Volunteers with the House of Brigid receive housing, travel to and from each year of service, health insurance, and a living stipend.
