THE WEEK YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR HAS ARRIVED.

THE THIRD ANNUAL CLONARD PASSION PLAY.

(Last year was a Resurrection Play, but you get the idea.)

Emily Puscas (now Toole) wrote our first Passion Play in year four of Teach Bhríde.
This year, Joy has revised her script and we are presenting this new version of the Passion of Our Lord.

The rehearsal process began in January.
It has been a beautiful way to explore this story with which we are all so familiar.
Doing more than just listening to the words of the Gospel helps us to contemplate this Paschal Mystery in new ways.
Seeing the joy on the faces of the children who learn at Jesus’ feet, hearing the crowd shout for his condemnation, and feeling the desolation of the pietà.
Experiencing the Passion in this way invites us deeper into Christ’s agony as well as His Love.

So join us this Palm Sunday weekend as we present “How Can We Be Silent?”
Saturday/ Sunday 28th-29th March at 7:30 pm
Clonard Church of the Annunciation
Tickets are 5 Euro, with special pricing for families, and can be purchased in the Parish Office (053-9123672) or at the door. All are welcome!

I hope to see you all there!
