As you can tell from Jessica’s post on Monday, we had a wonderfully busy weekend with the Notre Dame Folk Choir. What a joy it was to be able to host so many of our friends in our Wexford home! I have to admit, it was a little surreal to see them walking down the sidewalk towards me as I headed home from the parish. We waved goodbye to them early Tuesday morning as they headed off to Galway. Today, they waved goodbye to the Emerald Isle and headed for Scotland! (I have never been there; perhaps it is also emerald.) To follow the rest of their pilgrimage, you can read Steve Warner’s blog.

Since the Folk Choir left Wexford, we have been recovering from all that excitement, reviewing the year, and putting things in place for next year. Today we had our end-of-the-year review with the parish team. We have also been in the media this week, in certain circles:

  • Check out Jessica’s reflection on the Visitation, Sharing Faith to the Fullest is a Two-Way Street.
  • Like our new House of Brigid facebook page! We’ll use it to point out new developments that will also feature on our website. If you have a facebook account, updates will show up in your newsfeed when you “like” the page.
  • This week saw Dan’s and my last Christian Media Trust radio show recording. Tune into Dan’s program on hope this Sunday at 3:30pm EST on Southeast Radio.
